I was born and raised in the Dallas, Texas area of the United States. I am proud of the fact that I do not have the stereotypical Texan accent.
From an early age I experienced moments that shaped my desire to work with individuals, couples, and teens, in their own journey of life. From the moments of primary school to the experience of marriage and fatherhood, I have a deep appreciation for helping people with the challenges they encounter from many different cultures.
I hold a Masters in Counseling and have been professionally working with people since 2010. I am a licensed counselor and have been in private practice for the past three years.
I previously lived in Belgium for six years (2010-2016) and recently moved to the Netherlands. I have felt for a very long time that Western Europe is my home and I am thrilled to practice in The Netherlands.
An expat myself, I have experienced life in many different environments, culture shock, reverse culture shock, and the challenge of adaptation is something that I am familiar with.
